20031021 Nairobi
I was advised repeatedly not to walk alone in Nairobi other than within hotel vicinity. Nairobi was not much fun, Kenya National Museum, Snake Park, and City Tour were not exciting. The dinner at Carnivore Restaurant was fantastic but must be with friends (unfortunately I was alone). Huge pieces of game meats were barbequed in the stove and served to each table routinely. Tasted zebra, antelope, ostrich & crocodile - crocodile meat tastes like fish, awful (I don’t eat fish, sorry). I left my suitcase with the concierge in the 5-star hotel before departing to safari. Guessed someone ransacked it though it was locked. Nothing lost.
