20071013 Terezin

The imposing fortress of Terezin is a reminder of tragic aspects of Central Europe's past. It was never used in wartime, instead it was turned into a prison in the miid 19th century, used as Jewish concentration camp during WW II. Time is too short to see all museums and galleries. It is quite far to walk from one site to the other. Terezin is like a ghost town, hardly seen anyone walking on the street.
